International payments are complicated enough. Checking their reported status should be simpler.
UETRACE is an independent service that helps you check available information about an international payment using its Unique End-to-End Transaction Reference (UETR). For a basic website check, you only need the reference: no registration, email address or additional payment details.
What's in our name?
Some people read UETRACE as “UETR Ace.” We appreciate the compliment, but that’s not what our name stands for. UETRACE means “U eTrace” — you trace your payment. You decide what to do next.
What we believe
Useful payment information should come with clear explanations of what has — and has not — been confirmed. A missing result is not proof of fraud. A payment instruction is not proof of credit. An independently reported status does not replace the bank's official records.
We ask for as little information as we need. A one-off website check requires just a UETR. The website offers three free checks every day. Optional paid Telegram features can monitor status changes or provide additional information when available.
Independent by design
UETRACE is not a bank, payment processor or Swift service. We cannot send, stop, recall or release a payment. Availability and detail depend on the information accessible for that transaction.
Your track. Your trace.
Enter your UETR, the unique reference assigned to a payment when it is created, to retrieve its status and known dates. In the @swiftgpibot Telegram bot you can request an Extended payment card, search using additional payment details and set up paid status tracking with notifications.
Coverage and completeness depend on the individual payment. The service cannot access your bank account, cancel, accelerate or hold transfers, or make bank compliance decisions.
No documents, names or account numbers are needed for a basic check: just the UETR. Details about our data processing are on the Privacy page.
